Illustration Friday, "Time"

This week's theme at Illustration Friday is "Time." I have submitted Chronus,
Father Time himself who is lighting the way into the new year.
The best to all in 2014!

Illustration Friday, "Reflect"

Here's another from the archives for Illustration Friday. The theme is "reflect" and this image was one of a series of three titled "Sideshow." The character is based on my wonderful, eccentric grandmother who would have had tattoos were she alive today.

Illustration Friday, "Spirit"

Another submission to Illustration Friday. The theme is "spirit" and this image is the cover of "Words of Life 2009," a compilation of articles from "Words of Life" magazine.

Illustration Friday, "Refrain"

This week's submission to Illustration Friday. The theme is "refrain" and the image is an editorial piece
from my archives.

Illustration Friday, "Tail"

This week for Illustration Friday, my submission is from the archives.
This linocut illustration is one of a hundred images I created about fishing for the miniature book, The Lure of Fishing, published by Andrews McMeel.
It was commissioned by the brilliant Beth Tondreau Design.

Illustration Friday, "Energy"

It looks like this blog is about Illustration Friday and here is my latest submission.
This sun was designed for another publisher but eventually became the cover of Deepak Chopra's
"The Ultimate Happiness Prescription" by Crown Publishing.

Illustration Friday, "Secret"

Another submission for Illustration Friday, "Secret" theme. Linocut art by Sue Todd,

a birthday greeting for Marion Carus, founder of Carus Publishing.
