Illustration Friday theme of Trapped. This image depicts one of the legends of mischievous Anansi the spider and was commissioned by Symmetry Design for Sadlier Publishing.

Since teeth are a defining characteristic of the beaver, I thought it would make a good submission to the topic this week. This linocut print is one of a series of four Canadian icon animals, appropriately submitted on Canada Day. Check out Illustration Friday for more perspectives on teeth!
